Today, I noticed a military advertisement on my profile. It really pissed me off. I have to deal with the military recruiting around here and targeting poor kids of color. They fucking TARGET them. God damn. You'll flippin steal money from our school system, short-change families of color in every human-needs possible, then come in and tell them their best shot for an education is to go off killing other brown people the US gov are trying to colonize. Lovely.
The thing that made me most sick is that the people in the Tribe Ideas tribe are actually defending the advertisement here. You know what? I was trying to figure out what word in my profile could possibly link that advertisement to my profile, and the only thing I can think of is the word "youth". I swear. (Okay, in fairness, maybe the adverts aren't linked, but considering other Tribe adverts are linked, I wouldn't be surprised.)
The other thing is the discussion on SF The Citadel about cars getting broken into in the SOMA. I provided a bunch of suggestions about what people could do inSTEAD of sicking the police on people, but they could only come back at me with drivel about "rape and theft" (who the flip said anything about rape??) "never being okay". And how, if businesses can't make it in the SOMA, how is the area ever going to prosper? Let me get this straight? Businesses that cater to your white suburb ass visiting once a week in your car are going to somehow benefit the people living in severe poverty there?

i live in Millbrea right now. over the weekend some sick fuck took it upon themselves to stick US flags into the lawns of the houses in my neighborhood. without notice or without asking. the US flag is a disgusting object to both me and at least one of my roomies. all i can say is i'm glad i wasn't home. flag burning is still legal after all.

For some reason, when radicals strike or conservatives triumph, I suffer. When Bush got elected, I lost my job, when AlQuaeda took down the board of trade, I lost my job, now after London got bombed, my punk-ass white sissy manager sent me home because I told him "to get his stuff together?. Well, I don't make any money, so dock me for $3.00?! Big fucking deal.
We are living in perilous times. I am convinced that the government is using information technology to identify and persecute those with views contrary to theirs. When I was in the homeless shelter, I couldn't help but notice the overwhelming number of Democrats...What is going on?
I even wonder about my postings on Tribe. If we aren't being watched. I wouldn't put it past Rove and his thugs.
This Bush hard-right thing has split up my family. My parents and sisters the others have bought into this conservative bullshit and I am all alone on the left. But there is something to be said for integrity. I refuse to drink the kool-aid. These motherfuckers are "buying" black people. If you go to church, keep your mouth shut, support Bush, you might get a job, get a home, get a piece of the American dream, but at what cost? Give up your voice? Give up your civic responsibility to call it as you see it?
They have made it hard on me since I graduated college, I have been harrassed by the IRS, I've paid an inordinate amount of "backtaxes" that started at IBM when IBM did not take taxes out of my "per diem" as they were supposed, so when I started my own company, when the IRS found that I was paying my taxes as I should, they went back eight years and dug up this old shit. I'm told this was not uncommon during the early eighties. But they couldn't bury me. They have thrown everything at me and I have survived.
But these last five years have been the worst in my life. They have severely upped the ante. The pressures have been almost unbearable but I won't give in and become "born-again". Fuck them.
Never let them kill the cat in you. The corruption and evil in this country at the present time is unprecedented. One day someone will write about what we are going through. It is worst than Watergate.
They are punishing their enemies on a unparalleled level. And believe me they are using every means at their disposal: NSA, FBI, CIA, the whole works and it all coming from Bush's brain: Karl Rove, the Anti-Christ.
I say: bring it on. Fuck the Fascist Insect and all the minions who follow him.
